Bill Cosby accuser accuses him of sexually assaulting her: ‘We will make a statement’

On Monday, Bill Cosby and his lawyer released a statement saying the “victim” is “not a liar.”

Cosby has denied the allegations.

The statement said the accuser “believes that Bill Cosby raped her in the mid-1980s.”

Cosby’s lawyer said in a statement that “the woman has a valid and compelling legal claim.”

The statement also called on the media to “immediately release the names of the people who have made false allegations of sexual assault.”

It also said the “trial of Bill Cosby will begin soon.”

Cosby was arraigned on Thursday and faces a number of charges.

On Friday, the judge ordered him held without bail on two counts of aggravated indecent assault and one count of aggravated unlawful contact.

Cosby is being held on $10 million bond, while his attorney said on Saturday that the defendant has an attorney.

In court on Saturday, a judge read a statement Cosby gave to authorities after the alleged attack.

Cosby’s attorney, Mark Geragos, said in the statement that Cosby “will make a public statement on Monday regarding the charges against him.”
